Amacoil offers a complete line of AZ timing belt drives and belt-drive linear actuators offering axial thrust from 240 N (54 lbs.) to 2,490 Newtons (560 lbs.). Both roller type and slide bearing designs are available. Carrier sections are constructed of anodized, torque-resistant, extruded aluminum. Uhing timing belt drive actuators offer travel speeds of up to 5 M/sec. (16 ft./sec.) with repeatable accuracy to within ± 0.2 mm (0.008 in.) at 2,000 mm (78.74 in.).

Uhing timing belt drive actuators are for positioning and sequence control procedures including PLC-controlled set-ups. Carrier section lengths are combined to accommodate stroke length requirements. Belt material is neoprene/steel cord with a tractive force of up to 320 Newtons (71.94 lbs.). The belt is robust and retains its shape over extended use.

Model AZ-1010 Timing Belt Drive for restricted space installations

The AZ-1010 timing belt drive features a compact design which makes the unit well suited for restricted space installations where wider load carriage assemblies aren't practical. The AZ-1010's narrow "profile" is made possible because the load carriage does not overhang the carrier section, but is the same width (40 mm, 1.57 in.). Additionally, the belt is recessed below the top surface of the carrier section which helps protect the belt from potential hazards in the work environment and prevents it from being caught on machinery or parts. AZ-1010 timing belt drives achieve a travel speed of up to 3.5 M (11.48 ft.) per second with repeatable accuracy to within +/- 0.2 mm (0.007 in.). End-to-end T-slots in the carrier section enable secure attachment to the production assembly where the AZ-1010 drive will be used. The standard unit is equipped with a 12 mm (0.472 in.) diameter shaft extension located on the drive-end to permit motor or gearbox connection. Optional female shaft ends and keyways are also available.
