High-precision linear motion combined with the benefits of "rolling ring" technology

The RS-Linear Scale is a fully integrated assembly. It provides both travel direction sensing capability and linear position control with resolution to 0.0004 inches (0.01 mm). The assembly has applications in equipment performing PLC-controlled indexing, measuring and positioning processes in a variety of automated manufacturing industries. An alternate design is also offered which provides a resolution of 0.004 inches (0.1 mm).
