Kinemax (AKI3-15-6) Linear Drive Assembly

The Kinemax rolling ring drive assembly (model AKI3-15-6MCR) is designed for light duty reciprocating linear motion applications. Among these applications are spooling light gauge wire, moving small lightweight sensors and scanners, fiber/filament tensile testing and more. Reversal is automatic and linear pitch is adjustable via a dial on the front of the unit. An electronic control system is not required. The Kinemax housing is made from a corrosion resistant composite proven durable and rugged in factory/industry settings. With seven pounds of thrust the Kinemax drive assembly is ideal for tabletop set ups.

An ARG assembly consists of:

  • Uhing RG drive unit with steady rollers
  • Case hardened, precision ground shaft
  • Shaft supports with bearings
  • Adjustable end stops on stop rods
  • Guide rail

Based on your application data, Amacoil will custom build an ARG assembly to meet your requirements. An Amacoil/Uhing ARG assembly comes ready to install in production machinery. All you need to do is connect the assembly shaft extension to your drive source.
