RG4-50-0 Linear Drive

For ultra-heavy duty applications, Amacoil/Uhing RG4-50-0 drive units meet application needs. Featuring a cast aluminum alloy housing, these units are used to wind heavy gauge rope, chain and cable in all types of manufacturing settings. Other applications include reciprocating movement of heavy loads over spans ranging from a foot or two to over twelve feet.

RG4-80 models have four rolling ring bearings inside providing a thrust of 315 pounds. Factory tested for twelve million reversal cycles, RG drives are durable and reliable. The drives offer automatic, mechanical reversal. Travel direction and linear pitch are controllable independently of the drive motor thus eliminating the need for electronic controls and programming. Numerous options offer added linear motion control.
