FA-II Flange Detection System Features & Benefits
When the laser sensor detects the edge of the spool flange, a signal is sent to a pneumatic cylinder which actuates the reversal mechanism. A manual is included with the system.

- Laser sensor with 3.5 M connecting cable

- Care should be taken to assure that spool flanges are not bent or damaged
- Laser sensor should be protected from particulate contaminants (dust, metal particles, wood chips, etc.).
- Accommodates materials with round cross-sections
- Material diameter: 0.1 – 2.0 mm (.004 – .079 in.)
- Spool flange diameter: up to 220 mm (8-43/64 in.)
- Will handle spools with straight or tapered flanges (angle of up to 40 degrees)
- Operating temperature range: -10 to 40 degrees C (14 – 104 degrees F)
- Maximum operating air pressure is 6 bar (87 psi)
