RS4-50-3 Linear Drive

Amacoil/Uhing RS4-50-3 rolling ring linear drive nuts provide backlash-free linear motion with a thrust of 292 pounds. RS nuts meet a wide range of applications in automated manufacturing industries including textile, wire/cable, automotive, metrology and CNC machining.

Unlike screw-based set-ups, the Amacoil/Uhing RS4-50 rolling ring linear drive nut runs on a smooth shaft. If an overload occurs, the nut will slip, not jam. This protects system components from churning and grinding. To minimize wear and tear on valuable motion system components, the RS nut features an optional free movement lever which permits easy, manual sliding of the nut on the shaft – while the system is stopped. Integrating the RS drive nut with devices such as linear scales provides a low maintenance precision motion system for high accuracy tracking of both position and travel direction.
